Sherry/Jerez Y Mas

Sherry is a fortified wine made from white grapes grown in the Andalucian region of Spain, near the town of Jerez De La Frontera. After fermentation, the wines are fortified with a grape spirit increasing their alcohol level. The wines suitable for aging such as the Fino & Manzanillo are fortified until they reach an alcohol level of 15.5%.  Others such as the Oloroso are fortified until they reach at least a 17% alcohol level.
